Due to growth within our Infrastructure sector, we are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance and Improvement Manager to support our Highways business. The role will work to support the Programme Delivery Lead in embedding quality within the framework – building on a solid foundation to succeed - and supporting the framework team. The role will ensure that the right behaviours in terms of quality and improvement are promoted across the framework by exemplarity and that people are sufficiently trained with regards to quality management as well as feedback and knowledge sharing encouraged to drive continuous improvement.
There will also be a requirement to report on performance, setting up the relevant Quality KPIs that help determine how we perform in terms of quality and identify areas for improvement. The role will be also supporting the activities of the Group Performance Improvement Manager and the Head of Business Performance. This will ensure that the role will get the right level of support and work in line with the Group / Business requirements and goals.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the importance of quality and improvement, and the wider business benefits of a progressive approach. You will display collaborative behaviours at all times and be able to engage both internally and externally. Ideally you will have membership of a relevant professional body and have worked within a construction or civil engineering environment. You will have good knowledge of lean concepts and quality standards. You will be great at organising both yourself and others to ensure we meet our contractual requirements and be able to influence with credibility whilst being able to work in a close team environment.
