The Opportunity

 

Due to growth we are looking to bring on a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support our Highways team. The role will be based in Coventry and take accountability for the commercial success of a key new road project. Reporting into the Commercial Manager this role will be responsible for carrying out financial and contractual administration on the assigned contract in accordance with Osborne Procedures, to keep costs, income and cash flow within established targets and to optimise cash flow. The role will also set profitability targets with the team, develop procurement strategy, and regularly produce financial progress reports. The role will also support the development of other team members.

 
What are we looking for?

 

We are looking for someone who has a strong commercial background with knowledge of NEC3 contracts and who wants to make a tangible difference in the work that they do and have experience within an Infrastructure environment. You will be an effective team player, appreciating the need to work in a collaborative manner to achieve success. You will work effectively with people at all levels and be comfortable challenging convention to ensure that we move forward as a business and that we continue to best support our customers through value driven solutions.
