We are currently recruiting for a Senior Planner to join our rail business supporting a key long term framework. Reporting to the Head of Planning, you will be responsible for planning a package of works within the Wessex framework. This entails working closely with our pre-delivery managers, customers, stakeholders, our main design partner, other designers, supplier partners, and our delivery teams to create solutions that delight our customers.
You will adopt the collaborative culture that exists throughout the project team, including suppliers and customers, helping to ensure that everyone works towards our common vision of a vibrant delivery mechanism that delivers on promises, is chosen by customers and has safety at its core.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced planner who has worked within the rail industry and understands first principles application of project planning. You have demonstrable experience of supporting projects of various sizes and have an excellent understanding of site activities. You will be able to work collaboratively at all times, ensuring that energies are focussed on finding the best value solutions. You will be comfortable liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders and be able to use rationale and reasoning to support your approach.
