The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a new Apprentice Site Manager to join our highways business. The role will be a combination of gaining experience on site at our Gade Valley office in Hertfordshire along with time spent studying through a partner college. As an Apprentice Site Manager you will develop your knowledge and experience of how a construction site operates, the various elements it takes to complete projects successfully and also gain a formal qualification in the form a Level 4 Apprenticeship in Site Supervision.

What are we looking for?

What's really important to us is that you are passionate about wanting to make a difference not just through the work that you do, but in how you do it. Our success comes from having talented people who are great operating in teams and are able to deal with challenges in a positive and pro-active manner. You will also appreciate the importance of health and safety in a construction environment and take responsibility for ensuring that it always comes first. If you have had some exposure to any construction environment that would be a benefit but by no means essential. You will however be able to manage your own time so you achieve success whilst on site and in the classroom.

To meet the entry requirements of the study course you will need 5 GCSE's or equivalent with grades A-C in Maths, English and a Science or a Level 2 Apprenticeship.

Our Benefits
  • Competitive Salary and Company Car (dependent on position)
  • Company Pension
  • 25 Days Holiday
  • Gift Day off for your Birthday
  • Private Health Insurance (after qualifying period dependent on level)
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Life Assurance
  • Trade Discount Cards
If this sounds a lot like you, and your approach to your work is the same as ours, we would love to hear from you. If we end up working together, we will give you a great environment to work in with real opportunities for you to shine, deliver great work and develop your career.

Please note that we would also make reasonable adjustments where possible to ensure that our places of work are inclusive and allow us to support the creation of a diverse and engaged business.

Due to the nature of the work that Osborne are involved in, additional criminal record checks maybe required to carry out particular roles. This will be clarified during the interview process.
