The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Infrastructure business. Our Infrastructure business has been built on a reputation of consistently delivering success for our key clients who include amongst others Network Rail and Highways England. The business has gone from strength to strength and have a considerable pipeline of projects through longer term frameworks and relationships which mean that for you, we can provide stability along with further opportunities to grow your career as we continue to grow our business.
The role we are currently recruiting for is a Bid Manager. The role will form part of key element of our business winning team and directly impact on the future success and growth of the Infrastructure business. The Bid Manager will be responsible for managing an opportunity from pre-qualification through to contract award, including value proposition, strategy and solution development, commercial considerations, bid associated risk management. The Bid Manager will also ensure the bid process is efficiently managed throughout so that it meets our internal procedures whilst also maximising the opportunity for success for both Osborne and then our customers.

Our Pre-delivery teams are currently based in either our Reigate or Rugby offices but we are able to be flexible in terms of work location.

What are we looking for?

We are ideally looking for an experienced Bid Manager who has worked within the Civil Engineering/Transport Infrastructure sector and understands both the clients and how to achieve success in terms of quality and content of bid submissions. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to support the creation of a winning bid through the oversight of the process and those feeding into the content of the bid. You will be quality focussed at all times, ensuring that we only produce work that always meets, and where possible exceeds the expectations of the client. You will also be great at building long term relationships through the delivery of your work and how you interact with other individuals and teams, both internally and externally. As we look to further develop as a business, we would love for you to have a growth mindset, helping us progress by continually pushing what we believe is possible and generating additional value both for the business and for our clients.
