We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join us to support our rail services team. The overall purpose of the role is to support the site teams to ensure a full commercial service is provided whilst also ensuring the site teams are aware of all financial and contractual matters. You will be a senior member of staff within a team of four, leading and guiding the team.
This role will be based from our Reigate head office, although there will be an element of homeworking to begin with.
What are we looking for?
You will ideally have a background in rail, however a civil engineering or infrastructure background would also be well suited to this role. It is expected that you will lead the team so some previous line management experience would be preferable. You will have extensive measurement experience using National Schedule of Rates and Rail Addendum. It is expected that you will be working on a number of projects at any one time so good organisational and time management skills are essential. With an analytical mind, you will also be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
