The Opportunity

 

We are currently looking for a Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Manager to support our One Team Wessex Rail Framework. The Framework is made up of various work packages ranging from Geotech to Buildings and Structures along the Wessex route coming out from London Waterloo. The SHE Manager will be responsible  for defining and leading the SHE strategic plan across the framework
including the development of an efficient safety management plan that meets both internal
requirements and supports Customer aspirations. 

 
What are we looking for?

 

We are looking for a forward thinking SHE professional who is able to manage both tactical operations whilst also feeding into wider strategic changes. You will be familiar with rail operations and working with teams to identify and implement improvements. You will be passionate about the work you do and understand the importance of creating the right working environment where we role model the right behaviours at all times. You will have good up to date knowledge of current regulations and be seen as an authentic leader who is able to work effectively both internally and also with client teams.
