We have an excellent opportunity for an Operations Manager within our Property Services business and supporting the contracts with Winchester City Council and Arun District Council. The purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient, effective and profitable management of all works in an allocated area, primarily responsive repairs, planned and void works. You will also be expected to manage and develop processes to enable maximum performance from the operational teams on the ground and to make sure all works are deployed within the quickest possible time prior to the target completion date.
You will be spending time onsite in both Littlehampton and Winchester so you must be in commuting distance of both areas. There will also be some flexibility for homeworking on some days.
What are we looking for?
In order to be considered for this role it is important that you have previous experience of running a repairs and maintenance service within the social housing or local authority arena. You will be a strategic thinker and you must also be a confident communicator as a large part of this role is client facing. It would also be highly beneficial if you have experience in compliance related work. You will also be highly IT literate as you will be expected to work on a range of systems.
