The Opportunity


We currently have an opportunity to join our Innovare business as a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Manager. The role will be responsible for and take oversight of all SHEQ activities for both the manufacturing facility in Coventry and also provide support to our site delivery teams. The role will provide expertise and advice to the business in developing, formulating and communicating SHEQ policies, procedures and standards ensuring that all legislation, directives, procedures and specifications are fully adhered. The SHEQ Manager will also prepare and submit monthly and annual SHEQ performance reports to the Group Head of SHE and the Innovare Senior Management team.

Please note that this role will be based in Coventry.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality professional who has experience of working in a manufacturing environment. If you have knowledge of Construction, that would be ideal but by no means essential. What will be important is the ability to work with the business as a trusted partner, so the ability to build credibility and relationships will be a core requirement. You will be passionate about professional standards, ideally with a formal qualification such as NEBOSH, and have a learning mind set so to help both yourself and the business improve and develop. You will be organised and able to work autonomously delivering value back into the business.
