The Opportunity


We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Survey Manager to work within our Infrastructure sector to support on the successful delivery of a package of multi-disciplinary surveys to inform development works for both Network Rail and Osborne. Reporting to the Survey Manager, the Assistant Survey Manager role will aid the safe and efficient planning & delivery of the full scope of survey works as defined in the survey strategy and survey specifications. The role will also assist in reporting on the lifecycle of all Pre-Construction surveys allowing for efficient use of resource and continuous improvement across Pre-Construction works.

The role will work closely with our customers, stakeholders, design partners, supply-chain partners, and our delivery teams to assist in providing the information for the Pre-Construction Managers to discharge their individual accountability for delivering surveys safely that are of a high quality, within the financial targets set and in line with agreed programmes.

The successful candidate will ideally have demonstrable experience of working on Infrastructure rail project schemes. You will also have experience of supporting the management of surveys on multi functional frameworks and possess a degree/HND qualification or similar in a Civil Engineering or related course. You will also be SMSTS competent and be in possession of up to date CSCS, PTS and other identified training. You will work effectively with people at all levels and be comfortable challenging convention to ensure that we move forward as a business and that we continue to best support our customers through value driven solutions.
