We currently have an excellent opportunity to support the success of our Rail business as a Pre-Construction Manager. The role will help deliver schemes which form our One Team Wessex framework, and will focus on managing the development of design for these schemes. The role will liaise with internal teams as well as our design partner and Network rail to ensure that the design element meets the desired outcomes, is well planned and understood by our operational teams who will carry out the works. The role will also have direct people management responsibilities.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a civil engineering professional who has worked in a project management role and has managed the design process.You will have excellent communication skills to enable you to work as the hub between our operational teams, Network Rail and our design partner to achieve successful outcomes. You will work effectively in a collaborative, team orientated environment and be focused on achieving excellence at all times. A degree qualification in Civil Engineering would be preferred alongside hands on experience.
