Our Osborne Property Services Business

 

Our Property Services business works with local authorities and social housing landlords in evolving new approaches to maintaining social housing stock. Our focus is on total asset management, value creation, and delivering exceptional experiences for our customers and their residents, reducing the reliance on reactive repairs, whilst our partnership ethos brings fresh thinking, innovation and flexibility. We also work in collaboration with sustainable construction specialists and key supplier partners offering social housing providers a comprehensive and fully integrated zero carbon retrofit service.

The Opportunity

 

We have a great opportunity for a leader to join our Property Services business as Head of Sales and Estimating. The Head of Sales and Estimating will be responsible for managing and supervising the business development and estimating functions. The Head of Sales and Estimating will be part of the senior management team and through effective identification, pricing and winning of opportunities support our strategic growth plans. The role will manage the tendering process of the team including allocation of staff to specific duties for each tender process providing support on adjudications, establishing technical standards and procedures, and have overall responsibility for the development of the teams.

This is a hybrid role and can be based in any of our Property Services office including Slough, Hemel Hempstead, Winchester or Littlehampton.

 

What are we looking for?

 

Its essential that you have an estimating background, if you have worked in a wider pre-construction role supporting business development activities that would be ideal. You will understand the pricing structures within social housing and be able to deliver success through your team. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to liaise in a professional and engaging way with both existing and new potential customers. Attention to detail, effective planning and organisational skills are all key to success as will the ability to remain focused and determined to support collective success for the Property Services business.
