The Opportunity

We have a great senior management opportunity to join our Property Services business as a Commercial Manager supporting our Dacorum Council contract based out of Hemel Hempstead. The role will take overall responsibility for the commercial performance of the contract and manage the commercial team. The role will report into the Account Director who is accountable for the overall performance of the contract, but also work with the Property Services Head of Commercial. The contract consists of planned and reactive works across the region. The Commercial Manager will also be a key interface into the client, and build a respectful relationship which both meets the customers needs whilst also ensuring that we meet our business targets.

What are we looking for?

We are ideally looking for someone who has an excellent track record of success within the social housing sector and is familiar with both planned and reactive work programmes. The ability to be proactive will be key in ensuring success, looking at ways of working to ensure that what we do, and how do it generate holistic value to the contract. You will have excellent communication skills, and be able to build effective relationships that are built on the quality of your work and mutual respect. You will naturally be organised and have great planning skills whilst also being able to support the development of others directly within the commercial team, and also across the wider contract support team in terms of their understanding of good commercial performance.
